Finding the right size
Our styles come from different makers, so the most accurate guide is the measurement table on each product page. All measurements are in inches and are taken from the garment laid flat.
How our size labels work
| Label | What it means | Example sizes |
|---|---|---|
| M: months (baby) | By age in months | 0–3M, 3–6M, 6–9M, 9–12M, 12–18M, 18–24M |
| T: toddler | Toddler cut, usually roomier for diapers | 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T, 6T, 7T, 8T |
| Y: years (kids) | By age in years | 2Y, 3Y, 4Y … 8Y (some styles up to 12Y) |
Some styles use a range like "2-3" or "3-4". These mean years (for example, 2–3 years).
How to measure your child
- Chest/bust: measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms.
- Length: for tops and dresses, measure from the top of the shoulder down to where you'd like the garment to end.
- Waist: measure around the natural waist, just above the belly button.
Tip: compare your child's measurements with a piece of clothing that fits them well today. Lay it flat and measure it, then check it against the product's size table.
Between sizes?
Kids grow fast, so we suggest sizing up if your child is between sizes or close to the top of a size range.
